Taylor Swift, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, and Kim Petras are among the acts nominated at the female-dominated 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) airing live from New Jersey’s Prudential Center on September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

Hip-hop artist Lil Wayne opened the show followed immediately by pop darling Olivia Rodrigo. Right off the bat Pop queen Taylor Swift took home the award for Best Pop for her “Anti-Hero” video, and was presented the award by NSYNC, who reunited for the evening.
The star-studded show is hosted by Nicki Minaj is filled with performances from Anitta, Demi Lovato, Karol G, Måneskin, Doja Cat, Kelsea Ballerini, Stray Kids and more.
