I think 90s kids really got lucky when it came to music. So much incredible work in rock, pop, hip-hop, and beyond came out in the 1990s, including more than a few super-memorable one-hit wonders. Letโs take a look at just a few of those nostalgic one-hit wonders from the 1990s, shall we? I bet you know most of the words to these songs by heart!
โEpicโ by Faith No More
Remember Faith No More? Iโm still surprised that this alternative metal outfit would technically be considered one-hit wonders of the 1990s. Their biggest claim to fame was โEpicโ, released in 1990, which hit No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Itโs your standard super-catchy rap metal song, and I think it was a little bit ahead of its time.

The band would see some success with โFalling To Piecesโ shortly after โEpicโ was released, as well as โEasyโ in 1993. However, Faith No More never hit the Top 40 on the Hot 100 again.
โAll My Lifeโ by K-Ci & JoJo
โAll My Lifeโ has to be one of the most memorable R&B songs of the late 1990s. In fact, this K-Ci & JoJo might just be memorable to anyone who was alive at the time, not just 90s kids. This gorgeous R&B and soul track topped the Hot 100 chart for three weeks back in the day, and itโs a fine little slow-tempo ballad that has made it to more than a few romantic playlists in the years since.
K-Ci & JoJo being one-hit wonders is often the subject of debate. Technically, โTell Me Itโs Realโ from 1999 made it to No. 2 on the Hot 100. However, โAll My Lifeโ remains K-Ci & JoJoโs only No. 1 hit as lead artists, and their only song to top international charts across the board. Itโs also the duoโs only Certified Platinum single as lead artists.
โBitter Sweet Symphonyโ by The Verve
Few one-hit wonders of the 1990s are quite as cinematic as โBitter Sweet Symphonyโ by The Verve, released in 1997. This song is an excellent example of what Britpop outfits were putting out there in the 1990s, and itโs by far The Verveโs most enduring song of their career.
The Verve wouldnโt be considered one-hit wonders in their native UK, but โBitter Sweet Symphonyโ is their only song to chart on the US Hot 100 chart.
