4 Hit Country Songs From the 2010s That Disappeared Without a Trace

The country music industry can be rough, and quite a few stellar songs will top the charts, only to fade from airwaves in a matter of years. Thatโ€™s what happened to the following country songs from the 2010s, and I think they could stand to be revisited years after they disappeared. You might just find your new favorite throwback tune on this list!

1. โ€œCrazy Girlโ€ by Eli Young Band

Remember The Eli Young Band? Theyโ€™re still putting out killer music today, but they really made waves back in 2011 with the release of โ€œCrazy Girlโ€. The lyrics are sweet, the melody is fun, and it was exactly what youโ€™d expect to hit the country charts during the more romantic era of mainstream country music. โ€œCrazy Girlโ€ hit no. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and is easily one of the most memorable songs of the decade.

2. โ€œAnywhere With Youโ€ by Jake Owen

This unfortunate entry on our list of country songs from the 2010s that disappeared comes from country singer Jake Owen. โ€œAnywhere With Youโ€ was a smash hit back in 2013, and it quickly made it to no. 1 on the Country Airplay chart. The storyline isnโ€™t anything wild or groundbreaking, but the song itself was a bona fide summer anthem for a minute.

3. โ€œLose My Mindโ€ by Brett Eldredge

Brett Eldredge is better known for his country Christmas tunes nowadays, but he once had a few non-holiday-themed country hits that made it to the charts. โ€œLose My Mindโ€ from 2015 was one particular hit that was very popular on country music radio. Itโ€™s the kind of song youโ€™ll want to stomp along to, and it naturally hit no. 1 on the Country Airplay chart that year, as well as no. 2 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Itโ€™s kind of wild that you donโ€™t really hear this one much anymore.

4. โ€œAngel Eyesโ€ by Love And Theft

Country songs from the 2010s usually disappeared from radio play because they didnโ€™t age well into the 2020s. However, โ€œAngel Eyesโ€ by Love And Theft could definitely turn a few new fans in the current decade. This song was a no. 1 hit for Love And Theft back in 2011. Itโ€™s a cheeky little tune about a wholesome girl with a wild side.
