Miley Cyrus Has Very Few Regrets
During the conversation, Miley Cyrus revealed that Pamela Anderson was her role model growing up. She wanted to match the glamour that the former Baywatch star exuded at the peak of her fame. Her admiration of Anderson hasn’t changed. Now, Anderson’s career evolution is inspiring Cyrus in her new stage of life.
“I’ve had so many pivots and evolutions—one might say detours—within my path but it always ends up coming back around to make the next stage of who we are something that’s more potent, something that’s more real,” Cyrus said. “In my life, when I look back, all the mistakes, anything that I was unsure of or that I didn’t understand, I’m so proud of every moment and every stage of my life. I would not go back and change anything except a couple things I was wearing,” she added.
“The thing that upset everyone else wasn’t the thing that upset me,” Cyrus said, reflecting on her past.
Cyrus and Anderson agreed that the things that many see as “mistakes” are just steps to finding out who one truly is. The pair of stars is a great example of what artistic and personal growth looks. More importantly, they’re examples of how taking “detours” from one’s path can make all the difference.
