Tonight is the night. After weeks of jaw-dropping performances, The Voice finale is here. Lucas West (Team Legend), Alexia Jayy (Team Adam), Mikenley Brown (Team Kelly), and Liv Ciara (Team Kelly) will battle it out to be crowned the new Voice champion. A semi-finals recap will air at 8 pm EST, followed by the finale, running from 9:00 pm EST to 11 pm EST.

As she held her trophy backstage, a teary-eyed Jayy called her mom to proclaim, “I won, I won, I won!”
“I’m so proud of myself. This means so much,” she said. “I cannot believe that I just won The Voice. I get to take this back home to my babies. Oh my God!”

The Coaches Reacts to Alexia Jayy’s Win
“I’d say I can’t believe it, but I can,” Levine said. “There is no one that is more deserving of this honor.” Though she didn’t win, Clarkson acknowledged, “This was Alexia’s night, and I’m really proud of her… She’s so gifted. Honestly, this woman that’s 31 years old, like, where have you been?” Legend agreed, stating, “She was just consistently stunning, beautiful, magical. I’m truly happy that she won the show.”

The Results Are In!
After hearing from each of the four finalists about their Voice experience, Daly got to the results. Brown finished in fourth place, West came in third, and Ciara was named the runner up. That means that Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy officially became the season 29 champion of The Voice.

All three coaches wound up on their feet at the end of Jayy’s performance, as a teary-eyed Clarkson remarked, “That was crazy.” Legend was welling up too, as was Jayy’s own coach.
“That was a therapeutic release my heart needed,” Clarkson said, before Legend remarked, “You’ve got us all weeping over here.”
Levine took a deep breath before he spoke, telling his artist, “You are important, man. You make people reflect on their own life. When you tap into that, you make the world feel a little bit more together and communal. That’s really, really special. I’ve never experienced the feeling that we all just had together. Thank you for being a messenger, man. You’re unbelievable.”
Speaking to the camera, Levine said Jayy’s performance “made it clear that it was her night.”

Alexia Jayy Discusses Chasing Her Dreams
Speaking to Daly and Levine, Jayy discussed the “hard and fulfilling” journey of trying to make it in the music business as a mom. “I get to show my kids they can do whatever they want,” she said. For her last performance of the competition, Jayy chose Adele’s “One and Only,” a song she used to sing as a kid. “Being able to sing this song on a big stage is gonna be super amazing,” she said.

The teenaged pop star went classic for her second song of the night, as she decided to sing Christina Aguilera’s hit “What a Girl Wants.” In rehearsals, Clarkson praised Ciara’s “musical instincts” and dubbed her a “young Mariah,” before reworking the track to make it different from the original song.
“I don’t know if I’ve seen anybody want it quite as badly as Liv wants it,” Clarkson told the cameras. “She’s a fighter. I think not getting that chair turn last season really fueled her.”
