Premiering in 2011, The Voice is nearing the end of its 27th season. This year saw newcomer Kelsea Ballerini join returners Michael Bublé, John Legend, and Adam Levine in the coaches’ big red chairs. Fresh off his first win last season with Sofronio Vasquez, Bublé is looking for a repeat. And the “Feeling Good” crooner has two bites at The Voice season 27 crown with Adam David and Jadyn Cree. Taking the stage Monday (May 19) for the first of a two-part finale, David made his case.

Adam David Gives Beautiful ‘The Voice’ Season 27 Finale Performance
Down to the Top 5, Adam David faces Cree, Lucia Flores-Wiseman from Team Levine, Jaelen Johnston of Team Kelsea, and Team Legend’s Renzo in The Voice season 27 finale. The 34-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, delivered another stellar performance of Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful.”

For the night’s second performance, David belted “Hard Fought Hallelujah” by Jelly Roll and Christian singer Brandon Lake. “I’m shaking,” Bublé said.
For David, taking home the crown would perfectly cap off his anything-but-straightforward ride on The Voice. Finding himself in the middle four during the Live Semi-final rounds, the singer-songwriter stunned everyone with a soaring rendition of Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.” Viewers voted him the Instant Save winner, securing David the fifth and final spot in the Top 5.
“No matter what happens here, dude, I’m so proud of you. You showed growth through a one-chair turn, dude—a one-chair turn,” exclaimed an emotional Bublé. “As a coach, we don’t always get it right. We try our best, we try our best, But I know America, they always get it right. And so that’s all I’m gonna say. I know what they know, and I’m gonna let them do it.”

Adam David Shares His Experience
Describing an “intense” week leading up to The Voice season 27 Live Shows, Adam David is doing his best not to overthink.
“I’m trying to just look at it as, it’s a performance. It’s just another performance,” he told Deepest Dream. “It’s not something that my life is dependent on. My mom loves me no matter what, I have people that are supporting me.”
Regardless of the season’s outcome, David plans to continue telling his story through song.
“I wanna travel the world playing music,” he said. “That’s been the dream since I was a little kid.”
