Even before the untimely passing of the famous songwriter a performer Jimmy Buffett earlier this year, jam band singer Dave Matthews showed his affection for the artist. For years, Matthews has been performing Buffett’s song “A Pirate Looks at 40” in homage.

But given that Buffett has passed away, he and Matthews won’t be sharing the stage or music studio again. Since we won’t get any new music from the pair, we reached out to ChatGPT for a little help on bringing the twosome together again.

Final Thoughts
Truly, Matthews and Buffett are two of the most pleasant artists to listen to. Especially on a beach somewhere with the sun shining above your shaded umbrella. Maybe there’s a coconut in hand with a long bright red straw, too. In the song above, that pleasant joy is captured. While, ultimately, the song doesn’t quite do justice to Buffett’s abilities, his memory lives on.
