Silke Jasso is a Bilingual TV and print connoisseur, editor, writer, and producer, who is specialized in online media. Recently moved to the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, she has showcased her talent through a decade-long journey. Silke has worked for renowned publications such as Wide Open Country, Wide Open Eats, Rare, and LareDOS. Prior to her journalism career, she was a News Anchor for Fox News and Univision and a radio host for 107.3 FM in Laredo, Texas. She is an alumnus of Texas A&M International University, where she pursued a specialization in Border and Latin Region Media Studies earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Communications and a Master’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies. Outside of writing she enjoys spending time with her family and seeks out emerging artists who are making their mark within the city’s vibrant music community.
