Bob Dylan’s Recent Tweets Has Son Jakob Scratching His Head Just Like the Rest of Us

While producing a mesmerizing career in the music industry, Bob Dylan sold more than 125 million albums over his ongoing career. Still performing on stage, the singer gained entry into both the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Although an icon in the music industry, Dylan had the gift of keeping his life somewhat hidden from the public. That was until he found out about Twitter. Over the last few weeks, Dylan shared more than a few thoughts on the platform. And with fans a little confused, it appears his son, Jakob Dylan, is also confused as to why.

Back on October 9, Dylan jumped on Twitter to explain how he ran into a play for the Buffalo Sabres. “I ran into one of the Buffalo Sabres in the elevator at the Prague hotel. They were in town to play the New Jersey Devils. He invited me to the game but I was performing that night”. Another message surrounding his love for a restaurant in New Orleans. “Last time in New Orleans we ate at Dooky Chase’s Restaurant on the corner of North Miro and Orleans. If you’re ever there I highly recommend it.”

Again, with Dylan finally sharing a few of his thoughts on social media, Jakob told The Boston Globe he was confused just like Dylan’s fans. When told his father tweets more than he does, Jakob joked, “Yeah, like most people. I can’t tell you what’s going on with those. I’ve seen those. … I can’t tell you what that’s about. I’m not sure. But you’re right: Whatever it is, it’s more than I do.”

Jakob Dylan Open To Performing With Bob Dylan On Stage

Not able to give any clarity surrounding his father’s tweets, Jakob did show interest in performing alongside him. When discussing the possibility of the two sharing the stage, Jakob insisted, “I’m available. He knows how to find me.”

Following in his father’s footsteps, Jakob revealed none of his children are showing an interest in going into music. Having four children, he explained how the dream of being a singer is far more complicated due to the industry becoming fixated on touring and social media.
