It’s been almost six years since Bryson Tiller embarked on a nationwide tour. The most recent time was in promotion of his sophomore studio album True to Self, as he hit 31 different cities in the summer of 2017.

Now, Tiller is getting back on the road. On Monday (March 20), the 30-year-old Kentucky singer announced a 25-city tour beginning on May 4 in San Diego, California, and ending on June 12 in Seattle, Washington. While openers for the “Back and I’m Better Tour” have not been revealed, Tiller will be joined by DJ Nitrane.
In the Instagram announcement for the tour, Tiller explained that he will use his performances to preview what he has in store for his fans. “It’s simple, we back!” he wrote. “Taking a trip to the past and giving y’all a glimpse of the future. 5 whole years without touring, Time really does fly… See y’all soon!” Check out the dates below.
Tiller will likely put together setlists that contain hits from his prior three studio albums Trapsoul (2015), True to Self (2017), and Anniversary (2020). The COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from touring his most recent LP.
Although Tiller teased an upcoming studio album titled Serenity in 2021, which he said would be a triple-disc experience, there have been very few updates or mentions for the project as of late. So, it remains to be seen whether or not Serenity or any album will come before or after the Back and I’m Better Tour.
Most recently, Tiller has put out projects like the 2021 holiday album A Different Christmas and songs including “Outside,” released in September 2022, and “Gotta Move On” with Diddy, which dropped in October 2022. Tickets for the Back and I’m Better Tour go on general sale on Wednesday (March 22) via ticketmaster.com.
