Butch Walker’s eighth studio album Stay Gold will be released August 26 on Dangerbird Records. Walker’s first single off the album, “East Coast Girl,” is now available for streaming and download.
Stay Gold is the follow up to Walker’s 2015 release, Afraid of Ghosts, an album that was written in response to the death of Walker’s father. “Every song that came after [Afraid of Ghosts] was almost a nostalgic, celebratory … for lack of a better word – ‘jam,'” Walker says in a statement.
