“So proud of my baby!!” she wrote in the post. Then, she noted that Offset went against all odds before launching his latest solo record. She also praised him for, “starting fresh, staying focused and determined, and not letting nothing break him.”

Many of Cardi B’s fans agreed that it was heartwarming to see her publicly supporting her husband. However, the last two words in the tweet got them excited. “MY TURN,” she added to end the sweet message.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Cardi B to release her sophomore album. She released Invasion of Privacy in 2018 to much acclaim. Since then, she has been a featured artist on several hits. However, the Bronx-based rapper hasn’t announced her next solo release. She has been teasing it for quite some time, though. As a result, seeing her say that it’s her turn to shine in the tweet put all of her fans on high alert.

In August, Cardi B spoke to Vogue México y Latinoamérica. During the conversation, she said she was working on a new album. “Right now, I’m working on the cover art and idea for the next record because it’s definitely coming up,” she told the publication. She added that people urged her to release her next album after dropping singles like “WAP” and “Up,” but the time wasn’t right. “I always let them know I’m not going to wait long after all these singles. So, stay tuned because it’s coming out very soon.”

Offset signed a production agreement with Quality Control in 2013 that included his work with Migos as well as his solo releases. Then, in 2021, he negotiated a deal to purchase the rights to his solo music, according to Billboard. However, the Atlanta-based record company allegedly tried to claim rights to his 2022 single “5 4 3 2 1.” As a result, Offset filed a suit against them.

In August, the rapper dropped the suit and smoothed over all “differences and disputes” with the label. Currently, Offset is a member of the Motown Records roster.
