While returning to American Idol as a judge, Carrie Underwood pulled double duty as she also helmed her own residency in Las Vegas. Since December 2021, the singer has welcomed fans from all over the world to her Reflection residency. Performing at the Resorts World Theatre, Underwood took the stage over 70 times in the last three years. And on April 12, the end of Underwood and Las Vegas came as she performed hits like “Before He Cheats” and “Cowboy Casanova.” Thrilled about what she accomplished and her future, Underwood took a moment to reflect on her time in Las Vegas.
Never shying away from her faith, Underwood turned the spotlight to God and how he helped her through the last three years. “We are extremely blessed to be able to be on this stage. There are so many turns of events I know in my life, and I’m sure in these guys’ lives, that only God could have opened those doors and got me to the next place.” She added, “It’s been really incredible to be on that roller coaster ride, and definitely recognize that it’s all Him and just all blessings.”

Why Carrie Underwood Loved Her Residency In Las Vegas
With Underwood knowing the moment marked the end of her residency, she soaked in every last second as she closed out the show with her 2014 hit song “Something in the Water.” Thanking the crowd one last time, she insisted, “Thank you again for coming to Reflection. It has been an honor and a privilege, and a pleasure and a blessing to get to be in this stage.”
Although Underwood helmed a few tours during her time in the spotlight, she noted how the residency allowed her crew to focus on the concert instead of traveling from state to state. “I have always loved touring, but having the chance to play for an extended period of time in one place has really been satisfying. I love that we get to do this show for people who have come to Las Vegas from all over the world.” She continued, “We always like to bring big production values to our show, but Reflection really allowed us to take that to a new level.”
