Carrie Underwood had previously tapped Axl Rose to perform with her a couple of times throughout the last few years. Now, the duo is set to make their on-and-off partnership a more regular thing with the country star opening up for Guns N’ Roses on their upcoming tour.

Underwood will play select dates with the band on the North American leg of their summer tour. Other opening acts along the trek include The Pretenders, Dirty Honey, The Warning, and Alice in Chains.
The “Before He Cheats” singer will first join the rockers for a show in Moncton, Canada. Elsewhere she will be the opening act for shows in Montreal and Nashville. Find Guns N’ Roses’ full set of dates, below.
Underwood shocked the crowd at Stagecoach by bringing Rose out for her headlining set to perform a duet of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” A few months later, she brought the frontman out for a performance of “Welcome to the Jungle” at a show in Los Angeles.
“It was many years in the making,” Underwood previously said about tapping Rose for his Stagecoach debut. “I’ve been covering Guns N’ Roses my whole life, pretty much, and definitely onstage for the past 15 years at least. I had asked before if he would ever come to sing, or if I could come to him somewhere. We had a couple almost maybes, where it almost maybe would have happened, but for various reasons, it wasn’t the right time.
“We had rehearsals and everything went very smoothly,” she continued. “It was easy for all of us to be around each other. Hopefully, he had a good time.”
