The Voice is going to start up yet again this year, and one can’t help but think about all of the famous winners from past seasons. A few truly incredible vocalists made it to the end of their respective seasons. But, quite a few talented individuals didn’t make it. And a lot of fans still believe they should have won instead. Let’s dive into five Voice contestants that many fans believe should have won their seasons!

1. Kimberly Nichole
Kimberly Nichole could have easily won Season 8 of The Voice. Sawyer Fredericks’ win was definitely deserved, but Kimberly also deserves more recognition for her talents. She kicked off her first audition with Ike and Tina Turner’s “Nutbush City Limits”, and fans of the show were convinced the Seattle-based “avant-rock” singer could have won the whole dang thing.
2. Amanda Brown
Amanda Brown is one of the most underestimated singers from The Voice. She didn’t quite hit “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse perfectly, which likely resulting in her not winning her particular season. Luckily, Adam Levine saved her and she made it to the Top 6. With just a little more polishing and experience, she definitely could have won.
3. Juliet Simms
Juliet Simms is one of the biggest fan-favorites in the show’s history, and it makes sense why. Her voice is incredibly versatile. She started out her music career as the singer of the rock band Automatic Loveletter but managed to take on more soul-oriented songs on The Voice like “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley and classics like “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
There is quite a bit of unexpected quality to her voice that you wouldn’t expect from a reality show contestant. She’s definitely one of the most notable Voice contestants who should have won.
4. Christiana Danielle
She’s stunning, she’s got stage presence, and that voice can’t be matched. Christiana Danielle performed Sia’s “Elastic Heart” like it was the easiest song on the planet. She could have totally won Season 14, but we can’t deny that Brynn Cartelli was also super talented. Danielle deserved another chance, though.
5. Terry McDermott
Out of all of The Voice seasons, Season 3’s finale is by far the most controversial. Fans absolutely adored Terry McDermott’s vibe, presence, and voice. There wasn’t a doubt in many viewers’ minds that he was going to win. When Cassadee Pope was announced as the winner, you could have heard a pin drop. Why didn’t he win?! The world may never know.
