Eric Church, Toto, and More Performing at Joe Walsh’s 2024 VetsAid Benefit Concert in New York

Joe Walsh is bringing his VetsAid charity concert to the New York City area for the first time. The 2024 edition of the star-studded benefit event will take place on November 11, Veteran’s Day, at USB Arena at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York.

Joining the longtime Eagles guitarist on the concert’s lineup are country star Eric Church, rock greats Toto, and R&B/soul legends Kool & the Gang. The 2024 show marks the eighth annual installment of VetsAid, which raises money for various veterans organizations based in and around the area where the concert takes place.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday, August 14, at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. ET. Fans who want to purchase tickets early may want to check StubHub.

The concert is taking place just east of the New York City borough of Queens, where Walsh’s wife and VetsAid’s co-founder, Marjorie, grew up. Marjorie Walsh’s father was a World War II veteran who in the Air Force and received a Purple Heart medal.

Joe Walsh’s Statement About This Year’s VetsAid

“VetsAid 2024 is all about family, friends and faith,” Joe Walsh said in a statement. “I honor my wife’s family and their legacy of service in her home borough of Queens. I honor and thank my extraordinary friends Eric Church (the Chief!), Toto, and Kool & the Gang.” He continued, “I honor our collective faith in the power of music to bring fans of diverse backgrounds together in celebration and our faith in the power of love to unite us all as Americans to support a population of veterans that has sacrificed so much and asked for so little in return.”

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer added, “We’ve got something for everyone at VetsAid this year—country, pop, rock, funk and gospel—so all aboard!”

About VetsAid Grants

To date, VetsAid has donated almost $3.5 million to various veterans services organizations. Veterans organizations located in New York and New Jersey interested in receiving grant money from VetsAid after this year’s concert can apply now at VetsAid.org/grants.

Walsh’s Upcoming Concert Plans with the Eagles

Before and after the VetsAid concert, Walsh will be busy playing with the Eagles at the band’s upcoming Las Vegas residency at the Sphere venue.

The group has a total of 20 concerts scheduled, spanning from a September 20 show through a January 25, 2025, performance. The Eagles will play four concerts at Sphere each month during the run.
