Starting a GoFundMe for Hatrix, his daughter, Mea Hatrix, explained how her father needed some help when it came to his cancer battle. To make it worse, the singer’s cancer diagnosis came months after his wife passed from the same disease. “My dad has recently been diagnosed with Cancer, just months after losing my mom to the same thing. Due to this, he may have to stop working during his treatment. Anything means everything, Thank you.”

With Hatrix also going by the name Jeffrey Nothing on Facebook, he also posted a link to the GoFundMe, with the singer writing, “I really wanted to keep this to myself. I was diagnosed a couple months ago. It will be very hard to continue working with the treatment path I have chosen. Thank You for anything you can do to help. I know everyone is going through a lot.”

Fans Send More Than Love To Jeffrey Hatrix

While Hatrix’s wife, Stacy, was only 38 years old, she passed away back in April after fighting cancer for some time. With fans knowing the pain and heartache the singer’s family went through just last year, many offered their love and support. “Jeffrey Nothing your music and presence in the metal community means a lot to me. You were and still are one of my idols. I send all my love and support. You and your family.” Another person added, “You’ve put so much amazing music out there for us to keep enjoying. As a fan, Many thanks sent to you . Take care of yourself and prayers sent to you and family.”

With the GoFundMe only created two days ago, fans already helped Hatrix pass the halfway point. While some already donated over $2,000, the donations currently sit at almost $13,000. And with a goal of $20,000, it is only a matter of time before Hatrix has what he needs to keep fighting.
