Other Recent Foreigner News
Interestingly, The Venetian Resort’s official webpage for Foreigner’s orchestral concerts features a composite photo of the band without longtime frontman Kelly Hansen. Instead, guitarist/singer Luis Maldonado appears to be singing lead in the pic.
Foreigner recently announced that Hansen would not be joining the band on its upcoming 2025 tour dates in Latin America and Canada. Maldonado will be filling in as the group’s main lead vocalist for the Latin American shows, while original Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm will appear as a special guest.
For the Canadian shows, it was recently announced that Canadian actor Geordie Brown, who starred in the original production of the Foreigner stage musical Juke Box Hero, will be a guest lead vocalist.
Meanwhile, Gramm revealed in a recent Billboard interview that the band has plans to release some previously unheard archival tracks, including one titled “Fool If You Love Him,” for which he’s recorded some new vocals.
