Due to overwhelming demand, the country music giants added nine extra shows in 2024. And far from slowing down, the duo has announced five additional stadium shows in 2025 with special guests Parker McCollum and Little Big Town.

George Strait Keeps On Truckin’

Over a decade before George Strait took the stage with Chris Stapleton, the “King of Country” vowed he was done for good. In 2012, Strait announced that his The Cowboy Rides Away tour would be his last.

Fast forward 13 years later, and the “Amarillo By Morning” crooner, 72, is still at it. Just last year, Strait set a new record for the largest U.S.-ticketed show when he played for over 110,905 fans at Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have,” Strait said in a statement.

He continued, “Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year. Chris will be back and glad to have Little Big Town with us in LA. For the other cities, we’ve added Parker M. to the show which will be outstanding. Can’t wait to see you!!”
