Americana acts Gillian Welch, the Lone Bellow and Houndmouth will headline the third annual Wildwood Revival, a three-day music and arts festival located on a 30-acre farm outside Athens, Georgia. The headliners will be joined byย Hackensaw Boys, Sammy Brue, Legendary Shack Shakers, J.P. Harris and more on the festival’s open-air barn stage.
“One of our goals with Wildwood Revival is to โrevive communityโ as well as support the style of music and makers who are bringing back the sounds and craftsmanship of older times,” festival co-founder Libby Rose said in a release. “We wanted to take the feeling you get from visiting places like small town juke joints, honky tonks, farmers markets, swap meets, front porch parties and supper clubs and bring those elements to the farm in the form of a festival.”
In addition to the music, festival attendees can meet for yoga classes in the morning, eat at farm-to-table brunches, visit theย artisan market and drink craft beer served in mason jars. Check out our coverage of last year’s event here.
