None of the Pixies’ newer tracks have been a disappointment yet – “Classic Masher,” “Head Carrier” and “Baal’s Back” were exactly what we all wanted to hear from the band that have seemed to continue chugging along reasonably well in the wake of Kim Deal’s departure – and “Talent” follows in perfect suit. Though being relatively simple in structure, the song packs an energetic punch.
