Guns N’ Roses to Play Hollywood Bowl for the First in November, with Openers The Black Keys

In the wake of their performances at the Power Trip and Aftershock festivals over the weekend, Guns N’ Roses have announced two new concerts, November 1 and 2, at Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Bowl, with special guests The Black Keys.

This will mark the first time ever that Guns N’ Roses will play at the historic venue, and marks the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ first L.A. performance since August 2021.

Tickets for the two Hollywood Bowl concerts will go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 13. Presale tickets will be available for members of Guns N’ Roses’ Nightrain club starting Tuesday, October 10, at 10 a.m. PT. Nightrain members will receive a special presale code on the band’s Tour page after logging in.

The Los Angeles shows will mark the end of Guns N’ Roses current 2023 North American tour. The band also has concerts scheduled on October 11 in Phoenix, Arizona; October 14 in Seattle; October 16 in Vancouver, Canada; October 19 in Edmonton, Canada; October 22 in Nampa, Idaho; October 24 in Salt Lake City; and October 27 in Denver. Opening acts for these events include Alice in Chains, Ghosthounds and Ayron Jones.

After the L.A. shows, GN’R will head to Toluca, Mexico, for a November 5 performance at the Heaven & Hell festival.

The Black Keys, who currently are supporting their 2022 album Dropout Boogie, also have plans in Mexico following the Hollywood Bowl gigs.

They’ll be playing the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City on November 17 and a headlining show in San Pedro Garza García on November 20. The blues-influenced rockers will wind down 2023 with a December 5 performance in Chicago at Q101 Chicago’s Twisted Xmas concert.

As previously reported, Guns N’ Roses was one of six bands that took part in heavy metal-themed Power Trip festival, which was held October 6-8 at the Empire Polo Grounds, in Indio, California, where the Coachella festival also takes place.

GN’R co-headlined Power Trip’s October 6 bill with Iron Maiden. According to DesertSun.com, the band delivered a two-hour set that featured such Guns classics as “Mr. Brownstone,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” “You Could Be Mine,” “Sweet Child O’Mine,” “November Rain,” “Patience,” and “Paradise City,” as well as covers like Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and Paul McCartney & Wings’ “Live and Let Die.”

Power Trip also featured performances by AC/DC and Judas Priest on October 7, and Metallica and Tool on October 8.
