According to a statement, Heart’s members “were devastated to discover that two irreplaceable instruments were stolen from the venue, where gear had been set up the day prior to the show.”

One of the missing instruments is a custom-built, purple-sparkle baritone Telecaster belonging to guitarist Nancy Wilson. The guitar features a hand-painted headstock that was crafted specifically for Nancy.

The second is a vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin owned by Heart multi-instrumentalist Paul Moak, which he’s played for more than 25 years.

Heart is offering a reward for anyone who has information that will lead to the return of the instruments. The band is asking anyone who has “knowledge of the theft or whereabouts of the instruments” to contact Heart’s tour manager, Tony Moon at [email protected].

Nancy Wilson also shared a heartfelt message imploring whoever took the instruments to give them back.

“These instruments are more than just tools of our trade—they’re extensions of our musical souls,” the guitarist wrote. “The baritone Tele was made uniquely for me, and Paul’s mandolin has been with him for decades. We’re heartbroken, and we’re asking for their safe return—no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable.”

Photos of both instruments were included in the message.
