Although having somewhat of a turbulent past with Saturday Night Live, just last week, the show welcomed back comedian Shane Gillis. Marking the second time he hosted, the comedian brought the laughs as he showcased his talents in skits like “CouplaBeers” and “Mid-Day News 2.” He also introduced the musical guest for the evening Tate McRae. While a hilarious episode, a new Saturday is here, and here are all the details about who is the host and musical guest for SNL tonight.

The cast of SNL is back in full swing after celebrating the 50th anniversary of the show. And wanting to keep the laughs going, SNL prepared for host Lady Gaga. Returning to Studio 8H, Gaga picked the perfect time to host as she released her newest album, Mayhem, on March 7th. Barely 24 hours after the album was released, Gaga looked to celebrate her work with a few skits.
Besides hosting SNL, Gaga also landed the musical guest spot for the evening. That’s right, pulling double duty, the singer understood the pressure that comes with juggling both jobs. For fans of Gaga, they know this isn’t the first time the singer held both duties. Back in November 2013, the hitmaker appeared on SNL as the host and musical guest.

Lady Gaga More Than Hosting And Performing On ‘Saturday Night Live’
Throughout the night in 2013, Gaga teamed up with cast member John Milhiser to produce the sketch “4th Grade Talent Show.” Shining a light on how crazy parents can get when watching their children on stage, both Gaga and Milhiser become so enthralled with the performance they end up ripping their shirt open to reveal bras. Catching the families surrounding them off guard, the principal announced, “It’s weird, because Ashley ran off the stage crying and her parents are still dancing.”
Becoming a part of SNL history, Gaga is sure to make her time on the show memorable. And for fans, they don’t want to miss the night’s performance as she might cover a song from her new album. And outside of SNL, Gaga continues to expand her stardom as she announced she was headlining Coachella this year.
With a new album and headlining Coachella, don’t miss Lady Gaga on Saturday Night Live, airing tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streaming the following day on Peacock.
