Is That Taylor Swift? Dasha Has Viewers Doing a Double Take at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Performance

This Thanksgiving Day, Dasha made her debut performance at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade appearing on America Productions’ “Big City Cheer” float. The new artist further introduced her pop country style to the world by playing her Billboard hit, “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’).” In addition to her performance, the musician has been receiving some other flattering compliments. Mainly, a comparison to the one and only, Taylor Swift.

Following her performance, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade viewers took to social media to share their thoughts, and it seems many of the fans were thinking the same thing. The general resemblance between Swift and Dasha is fathomable. However, this resemblance between the two in Dasha Macy’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performance is simply uncanny.

Dasha and Taylor Swift’s Striking Resemblance

During her performance, the world was seemingly blinking twice to make sure it wasn’t Taylor Swift on stage. As a matter of fact, one person posted on X, “Am I the only one who thinks Dasha looks and sounds just like Taylor Swift?” There are hoards of comments just like that and it has fans asking lots of questions about the new country artist’s vocal and general style.

Another X user added, “Dasha looking like Taylor Swift… #MacysThanksgivingDayParade.” Somebody backed the idea, writing, “Why does Dasha look like Taylor Swift?” per X. Social media is apparently raving over this comparison and it’s no surprise. Dasha does look and sound like Swift, though, nowadays, that is about one of the best compliments one can get as a performer.

Regarding the comparison, an X user hilariously posted, “Is this Dasha trying to look like Swift or were they just made in the same pop factory?” Who knows what side of that question is true, we will surely hear Dasha’s response to the matter at hand sometime soon. Nonetheless, Dasha would seemingly relish in a comparison such as this one.

Frankly, is there anyone better to be compared to in music these days? Too many, absolutely not. Hopefully, for Dasha and her fans, the comparison will pay off and her career will launch more than it already has. After all, the Taylor Swift effect doesn’t discriminate and touches everyone and everything.
