Is ‘The Voice’ New Tonight? Everything You Need To Know (5/5/25)

Just last week, The Voice kicked off the Playoffs with coaches Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend, Adam Levine, and Michael Bublé only able to take two singers with them to the live shows. One of the major parts of the competition, the remaining contestants got some much-needed help from stars like Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes. During the first round, Ballerini and Levine decided to save Iris Herrera, Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Alanna Lynise, and Kolby Cordell. And with the competition moving forward, here are all the details about tonight’s episode and what fans should expect.

With Levine and Ballerini having to make the tough decision on who to take with them, tonight’s episode will turn to Bublé and Legend to pick the two singers who they believe have the greatest chance at winning season 27. Just last week, fan favorite Conor James ended up being eliminated after giving a promising performance of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.” But with only two spots open, Levin decided to go a different route.

Michael Bublé Reveals How ‘The Voice’ Continued After 27 Seasons

Marking his second season on The Voice, Bublé loved how the show highlighted the singers instead of focusing on the coaches. While winning his first season, he cared more about the contestants he helped inspire along the way. He told NBC Insider, “There was literally not one negative part. This is about the Artists, for the Artists. It’s not about us. We love being here. We love being part of the process. There’s a reason why we’ve come and gone, and the people in the red seats change, but the show stays successful. It’s because they’ve made sure that they are so protective of the artists. And that’s the legacy of the show.”

Looking to hopefully extend his winning streak, Bublé felt the pressure as original coach Levine looked to prove his dominance on the show, already winning three seasons.

With only a few weeks left before the season finale on May 19th and 20th, don’t miss a new episode of The Voice, airing tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and available to stream on Peacock. While marking the end of another season, NBC is already gearing up for the season 20 premiere of America’s Got Talent on Tuesday, May 27th, which might help those missing The Voice
