Set for August 15 at City Winery in Nashville, Together In Action will feature special performances from Jason Isbell, Devon Gilfillian, Chris Housman, Julie Williams, Autumn Nicholas, and The Kentucky Gentlemen. Presented by Country Any Way and eQuality events, the one-night-only benefit show will raise funds to support efforts against gun violence.

In March, the city was shaken by a mass shooting at The Covenant School, which took the lives of three adults and three children. Holly G, creator of Country Any Way and the event organizer, hopes Together In Action will help nurture a warm and welcoming environment while pushing for broader change.

“In my efforts to change the landscape of country music, I’m realizing that a huge part of that is taking a close look at where we live and being vocal about the changes we’d like to see,” she explains. “Since becoming a resident in Tennessee, I’ve incorporated into my mission making sure that marginalized voices and the voices of people who want Tennessee to be an inclusive and safe space are heard. Music gives us such a beautiful platform for expression and creating community. I’m so excited that myself, eQuality events, and City Winery Nashville were able to pull together such an amazing group of artists to send a clear message that Tennesseans deserve a safe place to live.”

Tickets for Together In Action will go on sale Wednesday (July 19), at 12 p.m. CT, while City Winery members can access a limited presale beginning Tuesday (July 18), at 12 p.m. CT.

Prices range from $55-$75 for admission, and all net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to “organizations working to raise awareness about gun violence in Tennessee.” Moms Demand Action, a non-profit organization advocating for gun safety efforts and legislation, will also be on site to share information about their efforts.
