It’s only been up for Kane Brown since he broke into the country music industry a decade ago. The Chattanooga, Tennessee-born artist is selling out stadiums and collecting No. 1 hits like “I Can Feel It.” However, to his three children, he’s just “Daddy.” Along with wife Katelyn, Brown is raising daughters Kingsley, 4, and Kodi, 2, along with 3-month-old son, Krewe. The “Miles On It” hitmaker frequently speaks about his love for his family, and those sweet bonds often make their way into his music. Recently, Brown took to social media to tease a new song about his favorite “backseat drivers.”

Sneak Peek of New Kane Brown Song Has Fans In Tears
Kane Brown has shared a snippet of an unreleased song he is calling “Backseat Drivers” with his social media following. On Monday (Sept. 30), the ACM Award winner posted footage of himself in the studio, intercut with adorable moments featuring his daughters.
The lyrics are an emotional sledgehammer to anyone with children, and even those without: “My whole world wasn’t over that dash / It was back there buckled in / Saying “Daddy look there’s a plane in the sky,” Brown sings.
“My back seat drivers,” the country star captioned the photo.
Brown offered no release date, but fans are crossing their fingers that they’ll get the full song soon. In the comments section, many praised Brown’s obvious love for his family. “The love you have for your kids is one of your best qualities,” one Instagram user wrote.
“I think it’s safe to say we’re all crying after this video,” another fan added. “Oh how I love this entire family, salt of the earth!”

Katelyn Brown’s Sweet Tribute To Her Family
Kane Brown and Katelyn Jae met in 2016 at one of the “What Ifs” singer’s first concerts. They were married two years later.
In August, Katelyn Jae Brown shared a selfie of the pair on social media. The post wasn’t meant to commemorate a particular milestone—quite the opposite, in fact. The pair were tending to everyday parental responsibilities—washing dishes and baby bottles—when they decided to pause for a picture.
“between all the travel, babies, dogs and life in general it’s important to always remember where it all started …. Just the two of us,” she wrote. “I love you and so grateful for this beautiful family & life @kanebrown.”
