Kid Rock Shoots Cases of Bud Light Beer with Automatic Rifle in Bizarre Protest

In a video posted on social media, Detroit-born rocker Kid Rock took an automatic rifle and shot at two cases of Bud Light beer, cursing the company.

The move, observers seem to believe, comes in the wake of the light beer company showing support for the trans community. The beer company recently partnered with trans actor and comedian, Dylan Mulvaney.

Said Rock, “Fuck Bud Light and f— Anheuser-Busch!”

Bud Light sent a pack of beer to the transgender woman, Mulvaney. The beer cans, sent over the weekend, had her face on them. Mulvaney had been celebrating “365 Days of Girlhood,” marking each day of the year after undergoing her transition from male to female.

Others have since pointed out that that Bud Light has been pro-LBGTQ+ for a while, too.

The gesture seems to get under Rock’s skin. The musician has recently been appearing on Fox News with Tucker Carlson talking about cancel culture. Rock has also been critical of “snowflakes” and President Biden. It looks like he was the one irritated, using his automatic rifle for a bit of cancel culture toward the beer.

In just a few hours, the video from Rock had garnered millions of views.

The company that owns Bud Light released a statement in response to backlash about its partnership with Mulvaney, saying to Fox, “Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points.”

The company added, “From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
