Fans of the blues rock outfit Faces are in for a treat soon. Rod Stewart, Kenney Jones, and Ronnie Wood have already recorded 11 tracks for a new album, which will likely be released in 2026.
The announcement came from the bandโs drummer, Kenney Jones, during an interview with The Telegraph last week.

โNot all of them are going to be right [for the record], but most of them are good,โ said Jones of the 11 tracks the band has recorded.
Jones also said that he recently spent some time with Stewart and Wood to discuss a potential new Faces documentary, which would feature never-before-seen footage of the band. He did not divulge more information, but the potential of a Faces documentary, along with a new album, would be incredible.
All the (Very Minimal) Details on Facesโ Upcoming Reunion Album
We donโt know a lot about Facesโ new album, but Kenny Jones did divulge a few small details. Specifically, he noted that although the 11 tracks for the album have been recorded, the album itself will likely not make it to shelves until 2026.
โI canโt see it coming out this year,โ said Jones. โBut I can see it coming out next year. Everyoneโs doing different things. We do little snippets here and there. Then all of a sudden, The Stones are out [on tour] again, Rodโs out again.โ
Jones is likely referring to The Rolling Stonesโ months-old announcement about potential European touring plans later in 2025. For reference, Ronnie Wood of Faces is also the guitarist of The Rolling Stones. Wood actually teased the upcoming Faces reunion album back in November.
โIโve been in the studio with the Faces last week, and we are making some continued developments of music we made back in the day,โ Wood said in November. โAnd it still sounds like no time has gone by.โ
Likewise, Rod Stewart is currently touring Europe through May and will return to his Las Vegas residency through June before kicking off another North American tour through October.
As of this writing, the members of Faces have not revealed a solid release date, nor a tentative title or theme for the record. Stay tuned!
Facesโ last studio album was released years ago in 1973, titled Ooh La La. Theyโve released plenty of compilation albums since then, but itโs been decades since they released new music. How exciting!
