With Hurricane Helene ripping through parts of the United States, numerous states like Virginia, Florida, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Georgia watched as nearly 200 people lost their lives from the storm. While the sun eventually broke through, the devastation left by the hurricane continues to play out on social media. Countless videos showed the destruction and power that Hurricane Helene brought. Wanting to do more than offer her love and support, country singer Miranda Lambert decided to create a fundraiser on top of already donating $100,000.

Not only wanting to help families start to rebuild their lives, Lambert also looked to help animals hurt or misplaced by the storm. Teaming up with her MuttNation Foundation, the singer shared a post on Instagram about the fundraiser. “My heart breaks for the people and pets impacted by Hurricane Helene. In situations like this, a lot of people ask me how they can help. We’ve already provided nearly $100,000 to help through our @muttnation-@tractorsupply Relief for Rescues Fund.”
Showing a video of animals and families struggling through the storm, Lambert insisted 100 percent of the donations would go to the relief efforts. “I created this fundraiser for anyone who wants to join us in helping. 100% of your donation goes towards Hurricane Helene disaster relief.”

Morgan Wallen Joins Miranda Lambert By Donating To The American Red Cross
Outside of raising funds, Lambert also discussed the bond humans shared as stories of people risking their lives to help others surfaced. “It’s a very dire situation because many of the shelters that got hit were already struggling with overcrowding. As we’ve been in contact with the shelters, we’re also hearing really heroic stories. People are risking their lives to help. It’s that type of courage that gives me hope that we’ll all get through this.”
Besides Lambert looking to help those recovering, she wasn’t the only country singer. Morgan Wallen also took a stand against Hurricane Helene when he generously donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross. Born in Tennessee, Wallen and numerous other stars are stepping up to offer some sort of reprieve.
