Morgan Wallen Reunites With Drake For Houston Show Walkout

Winning over fans from all genres with his first three albums, Morgan Wallen is embracing his flaws on I’m the Problem. Debuting in May, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year’s fourth record hasn’t relinquished its top spot on the Billboard 200 yet. This weekend, Wallen kicked off his highly-anticipated I’m the Problem Tour in Houston, Texas. And the Night 2 crowd at NRG Stadium got a surprise when rapper Drake joined Morgan Wallen onstage for the first time since their surprise collab in the music video for the former’s 2023 song “You Broke My Heart.”

Watch Drake Join Morgan Wallen For Iconic Walkout

As kickoff time drw near for Morgan Wallen’s Saturday (June 21) show at Houston’s NRG Stadium, the crowd went wild to see rapper Drake accompany the “Whiskey Glasses” crooner on his now-famous walkout.

At first, “Broadway Girls” played and Wallen flashed across the JumboTron with legendary Houston Astros pitcher Roger Clemens. Then, Drake makes his way onscreen, embracing Wallen and lifting up his liquor flask.

“Biggest song ever made if they collab,” one fan wrote on X/Twitter.

Others agreed elsewhere on social media. “Think we can all agree Morgan and Drake would make a killer song,” one TikTok user wrote.

Another added, “Imagine going to a Morgan Wallen concert and Drake just pops up. I would die bruh.”

Is a Collab in the Works?

Fans of both Morgan Wallen and Drake have been holding out hope for the pair to drop a collab since Wallen appeared in the “Hotline Bling” rapper’s music video in 2023.

In the video for “You Broke My Heart,” the two share a meal and cocktails before leaving the restaurant and getting into a promptly exploding sports car.

Nashville music manager Troy “Tracker” Johnson previously recalled getting a call from Drake’s manager at about 11 p.m. one night. The five-time Grammy Award winner wanted Wallen to hop on a plane to Toronto the next day to film a music video.

“At 11 ‘o’ clock at night, it’s really hard to get a hold of Morgan Wallen,” Johnson said. “It’s hard to get a hold of him at 8 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 5 p.m.”

That is, unless Drake is involved. “I text Morgan, and then he calls me back [immediately]…I mean, [it’s] Drake,” the industry veteran said. “If I need to get a hold of Morgan I’m going to say, ’Hey, Drake has a question for you.’”
