Morgan Wallen is gearing up to release a new album. He started sharing tracks from the new project last summer with “Love Somebody.” Earlier this year, he shared the album’s title track “I’m the Problem.” Now, he’s letting fans hear more new music. This isn’t just any song, though. Earlier today, he shared a sample of a song called “Superman” that he wrote for his four-year-old son, Indie.
Wallen shared a clip of the heartfelt song on social media earlier today (February 24). “Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son,” he wrote in the post’s caption. “None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it,” he added.

The song plays like a letter to a much older Indie. The clip begins with Wallen singing about his son seeing his mug shot from a night he got “a little too drunk.” The line doubtlessly refers to the infamous chair-throwing incident that landed him in court. Additionally, he addresses the end of his relationship with Katie Smith, Indie’s mother and Wallen’s ex-fiancee. Overall, “Superman” sees Wallen addressing his faults and expressing his love for his son. In short, it is a sweet and vulnerable track from the “Sand in My Boots” singer.
Morgan Wallen Is Preparing a New Album
Morgan Wallen hasn’t shared much information about his forthcoming album. However, he has already shared a handful of tracks. He also revealed the album’s title–I’m the Problem–when he announced his upcoming stadium tour. More recently, he released the record’s title track as a single.
In a previous post, Wallen told fans he and his team were still working on I’m the Problem. So far, he hasn’t shared a release date or a tracklist with fans. However, many assume that it will be another huge album. His last album, One Thing at a Time featured 36 tracks. Before that, his 2021 release Dangerous: The Double Album contained 32 tracks. That trend, plus the staggering number of singles he’s released from I’m the Problem lead fans to believe that the new album will also boast an expanded tracklist.
