Move Over Broadway—Still G.I.N. Lounge by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg To Open in Downtown Nashville

Broadway is known for its honky tonks, bachelorette parties, country bands, and beer-stained floors. However, with Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop partnering with Nashville Live!, Nashville’s nightlife will now have a sophisticated speakeasy inspired by the duo and their gin brand. With bars and venues constantly coming and going in Nashville, this one will surely stay thanks to the backing of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Still G.I.N. Lounge will be located on the basement level of Nashville Live!. The building also hosts bars and venues such as PBR Cowboy Bar, DraftKings Sports & Social, and Play Playground Nashville. Furthermore, the space Dre and Snoop will be occupying formerly used to be the official George Jones museum.

What Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg’s Bar Will Be All About

Downtown Nashville is arguably oversaturated with the country music brand synonymous with the city. Now, there is nothing wrong with that, but a little variety never hurts anyone. Well, Snoop and Dre’s bar will certainly bring variety, as it will seemingly not feature boots, beers, and low-down country music. Rather, it aims to be a bit more sophisticated and decadent.

Specifically, the bar will provide the “smooth sophistication of a top-tier cocktail lounge with the energy and cultural influence of the legendary duo” and be “an elevated nightlife experience,” per a press release about the venue. The ambiance and drink menu will also be inspired by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s music as well as their new liquor brand, Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop.

Regarding the opening of the bar, the CEO of Live! Hospitality and Entertainment stated, “The first ever location of Still G.I.N. Lounge by Dre and Snoop will bring an unparalleled cocktail and nightlife experience to Nashville Live! and all of downtown Nashville.” “We are thrilled to add this premier venue alongside some of the best sports, dining, entertainment and hospitality concepts in the country including PBR Cowboy Bar, DraftKings Sports & Social and Play Playground Nashville,” the statement concluded.

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s Still G.I.N. Lounge is set to open on April 4, 2025. That is right around the corner, so if you’re excited about this new venue, maybe get in line now. It will surely be around the block on opening night.
