Great news for tablet junkies and American Songwriter subscribers who have iPad and Android devices: the November/December 2013 edition is now available for download.
The November/December dead-tree edition doesn’t officially hit stands until November 10, but you don’t have to wait until then to dive in. This month’s cover story centers on The Avett Brothers, who just released Magpie And The Dandelion, an album they say took a lot of living to create. The Avetts also serve as the Guest Editors for this special issue, and chose many of the bands featured within these pages.
You’ll also find a feature story on the country band Alabama and the two tribute albums dedicated to them, as well as pieces on The Head and the Heart, Michael Franti, Johnny Flynn, a special column by Henry Rollins and our extensive Holiday Gear Guide.
