Disappointing news for Santana fans, as the band has had to postpone its next series of Las Vegas residency shows because guitarist Carlos Santana was injured in an “accidental fall” at his residence in Hawaii.
Carlos’ manager Michael Vrionis issued a statement in which he shared details about Santana’s injury.

“Carlos was out taking a walk at his vacation home in Kauai. He took a hard fall, and he broke his little finger on his left hand,” Vrionis reported. “He had to have pins inserted in the finger. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to play guitar for approximately six weeks. Doctors do say that he will recuperate fully.”
Vrionis added, “Carlos is doing well and is anxious to be back on stage soon. He just needs to heal. Santana profoundly regrets these postponements of his upcoming performances, but accidents happen, and his health is our number one concern. He is looking forward to seeing all of his fans very soon.”

Santana had been scheduled to launch its next run of residency dates at the House of Blues Las Vegas on January 22. As of now, eight concerts have been postponed, running though a February 2 performance.
Live Nation will announce the new dates for the postponed shows soon. Those who purchased tickets can hold on to them and use them for the rescheduled concerts.
Santana’s Other 2025 Tour Plans
Santana’s next confirmed scheduled shows now will be the eight dates of the band’s 2025 U.S. leg of The Oneness Tour. The stateside outing is mapped out from an April 16 show in Highland, California, through an April 29 performance in Nashville. The trek also will stop at venues in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
The Woodstock legends also have another eight-show Las Vegas engagement at the House of Blues that will run from May 14 to May 25.
After that, Santana will take its Oneness Tour to Europe for a 29-date summer road trip.
The trek kicks off on June 9 in Lodz, Poland, and runs through an August 11 concert in Copenhagen, Denmark. The European tour will visit about a dozen countries. It will feature performances at a number of European festivals, including the famous Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland.
