Sheryl Crow took to social media on August 12 to apologize to fans for her absence from Zach Bryan‘s recent shows in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was scheduled to open for him. In a statement on her Instagram stories, she offered a sincere apology and an explanation.

“I’m so sorry to those who bought tickets to see me open for Zach Bryan at Mercedes Benz Stadium this weekend and were disappointed that I wasn’t there,” she wrote. “Back in March, we had to pull out due to scheduling issues. I assumed Zach and Live Nation would make it known.”
The news, however, was allegedly not shared with fans who had tickets to the Atlanta shows. These two shows in Atlanta were the only dates that Crow was scheduled to open. She concluded her statement with an apology, writing, “I’m so sorry.”
Sheryl Crow has joined P!nk’s stadium tour as well, with dates beginning on August 10. Allegedly, this led to the scheduling conflicts with Zach Bryan’s Quittin’ Time Tour.
Zach Bryan Brings Out Bruce Springsteen for Surprise Duet
Elsewhere on the Quittin’ Time Tour, Zach Bryan brought out Bruce Springsteen for a surprise duet in Philadelphia. On August 7, Bryan sold out Lincoln Financial Field for the second consecutive night, and had a treat for fans to celebrate.
Bryan and Springsteen performed a duet of Springsteen’s own song, “Atlantic City,” during the show. The two previously worked together on Bryan’s track “Sandpaper” from his recent album The Great American Bar Scene. Later in the set, Springsteen returned to perform the collaboration with Bryan. Then, The Lumineers came out to sing their song “Revival” with Bryan and Springsteen for the encore.
Fans were beside themselves at their luck and the spectacular showing of guests. One fan wrote on social media, “being in the stadium when zach bryan shouted bruce springsteen’s name and red white and blue fireworks went off was better than any antidepressant I’ve ever taken.”
Another wrote, “Still can’t believe last night was real life,” posting photos and video from the night in clear astonishment. In true Philly fashion, they concluded with a celebratory “Go birds, baby.”
