Zach Bryan hasn’t yet been in country music for a decade, but the Oklahoma native hasn’t wasted any time breaking. Back in March, the “Heading South” singer eclipsed Bruce Springsteen’s attendance record at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey —The Boss’ own home state. However, Bryan would seemingly rather work with the “Born in the USA” singer than against him. The pair collaborated on the track “Sandpaper,” off Bryan’s latest album The Great American Bar Scene. And the audience at a recent Philadelphia show got quite the surprise when Springsteen joined Bryan onstage.

Zach Bryan Brings Out Bruce Springsteen
Roughly 60,000 fans packed Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Wednesday (Aug. 7) night to witness Zach Bryan’s electrifying Quittin’ Time tour. It was the second consecutive sold-out show for the alt-country star at the venue.
The GRAMMY winner frequently invites guests onstage to perform with him, and this time was no exception. Bryan brought out Bruce Springsteen himself for a duet of The Boss’ song “Atlantic City.”
The crowd chanted, “USA! USA!” as the legendary Springsteen, 74, made his way onstage. He and Bryan embraced before the “Pink Skies” singer sang the first line: Well, they blew up the chicken man in Philly last night…
Springsteen wasn’t one and done, either. The “Dancing in the Dark” singer later returned to sing “Sandpaper,” and then yet again for an extended encore performance of “Revival” with The Lumineers.

“Still can’t believe last night was real life,” one astonished attendee wrote on X/Twitter.
Another fan added, “being in the stadium when zach bryan shouted bruce springsteen’s name and red white and blue fireworks went off was better than any antidepressant I’ve ever taken.”
Zach Bryan Is Taking Another Social Media Hiatus
Zach Bryan’s Instagram, TikTok and X/Twitter accounts went dark Monday (Aug. 5) after the “Something in the Orange” singer went scorched earth on some internet trolls. It isn’t the first time Bryan has disappeared from social media, and it likely won’t be the last.
Earlier this year, the country star took to X/Twitter to explain his sporadic absences from the platform.
“for the record, I don’t delete socials because of people being rude, that’s a given where I’m at,” he wrote. “I delete them because I think sometimes people need breaks from exerting energy into these things to put it into other things, like albums and family time and all that boring stuff.”
