As a live act, The 1975 are still at their very best, and they plan to continue this well into 2024.

The English pop group announced an extension of their Still… At Their Very Best Tour, now set to run into February and March of next year. Their added leg of the showcase is set to kick off on February 9 in Glasgow and wrap up on March 22 in Cologne.

The new dates also include a pair of nights at London’s O2 Arena, which holds 20,000 people. They’ve stopped through there before, most recently in January, and in 2020, 2019, and 2016 before that.
The Still… At Their Very Best Tour is a pseudo-sequel to (or perhaps a continuation of) their 2022 showcase, At Their Very Vest. Stage design for that set found the band playing in a house complete with a spiral staircase and a cozy living room set. Social media posts were frenetic — images of band leader Matty Healy chewing raw meat, chugging booze straight from the bottle, and performing other antics lit up timelines.
Healy has also fostered controversy during this run, most notably due to a podcast appearance where he made comments about rapper Ice Spice and criticized the Malaysia’s government anti-LGBTQ policies before kissing his bandmate Ross MacDonald. He faces a possible $2.7 million fine.

The first leg of the Still… At Their Very Best Tour commences in Atlanta on September 16 and runs through December 2, when it terminates at a stop in Seattle. The 1975 are also celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the group’s self-titled debut album, which was released on September 2, 2013. This recent performance of “Menswear,” a proper banger from that era, is worth revisiting with the volume turned up.
