There are very few genres that I actively dislike, much less one that has produced a song that I love. So I’m proposing “show tunes” as a genre that I just don’t feel much affinity for, and this lovely tune from West Side Story as a song that, nevertheless, I always enjoy hearing.
B-side: Speaking of show-tunes, I don’t actually “love” this song either, but it’s an excuse to post a clip of Victor Garber in a Jesus-‘fro, frolicking around the WTC construction site.
