Founded in London in 2007, Mumford & Sons brought the warmth of folk/rock onto the bustling city stage. Together, Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Ted Dwane, and former banjo player Winston Marshall have released four studio albums and three live albums to date. Each collection of work falls brilliantly into the band’s brand of daring string instrumentals and highbrow lyrics. With classical references to Shakespeare and the epic poem The Odyssey, Mumford & Sons reworked the offerings of literary giants into their own sonic stories.
