The pair, who will be joined by coaches John Legend and Kelsea Ballerini this season, began by talking about their favorite musical genres.

“Basically any children’s album that John Legend puts out,” Bublé quipped. While Levine was quick to agree, he went on to admit that he’s actually “not a fan of genres” at all.

“There’s good music that I like to listen to. There’s music that I don’t like to listen to,” he explained.

Next, the duo got real about Maroon 5 music. While Levine said he loves all of his band’s songs, Bublé was easily able to pick out a favorite track.

“My favorite is ‘This Love.’ I love ‘This Love.’ I love it,” Bublé gushed, before revealing that he’s covered the song in the past. “I used to do it in my show. You know that! I made it a part of my thing.”

Levine was aware of Bublé’s covers, telling his fellow The Voice coach, “You do something before the chorus of that song that I actually sometimes do. When he does ‘This Love,’ right before the chorus he goes, ‘Sing it if you know it!’”

“Yes, because the audience would go crazy,” Bublé said, before gushing over the “full circle moment” he was experiencing.

As for his own music, Bublé initially joked that his cover of “This Love” was his favorite Michael Bublé song. Bublé then pointed to the “really pretty” “Stardust” and his hit “Haven’t Met You Yet,” which he wrote for his wife, as his personal favorites.

“Actually, I was going to say that song,” Levine said of “Haven’t Met You Yet.” “I think for me, it was because it was the first time I saw you kind of out of your genre, out of your world.”

Season 27 of The Voice

Season 27 of The Voice is set to kick off Feb. 3. Bublé, who won season 26, is the only returning coach from last season. Meanwhile, Legend will be back in the chair after a one season hiatus, and Levine is returning to the role after nearly six years off of the show. Ballerini, meanwhile, will make her debut as a coach during season 27.

As for why Levine opted to step back into the chair, the Maroon 5 frontman told E! News, “I just felt like it was time. I had some time to reflect and do my thing and be with my family. I was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.”

“It’s funny, I actually didn’t miss it while I was gone. But I became more nostalgic about it once I came back,” he added. “I feel like no time has passed, but then it also feels so different in an amazing way. I’m just super happy and pumped. I love these guys so much.”
