The Voice finalist Sydney Sterlace took to the stage to perform a stunning duet with her coach Gwen Stefani. The two looked dazzling as they sang “Wild World” by Cat Stevens together, bringing the audience and fellow coaches to their feet.
Before the performance, Gwen Stefani and Sterlace spoke about the finale, with Stefani wishing for more time with Sterlace. They appeared in similarly sparkly dresses, with Stefani channeling her No Doubt days in her vocals, proving that she’s still got her skills. Sterlace has smooth, even vocals, and took to the lower register nicely.

The song was well chosen, and Stefani noted that it seemed to have been written for Sterlace. They performed it beautifully, sharing a loving hug at the end.

Sydney Sterlace Has Been a Fan Favorite to Win The Voice
16-year-old Sydney Sterlace has been a favorite to win season 26 of The Voice since her Blind Auditions. Now, she’s made it all the way to the finale. On part one of the finale, Sterlace performed a loose, free-spirited rendition of Gracie Abrams’ “I Love You, I’m Sorry” that had fans thrilled. Later, she returned to the stage to perform Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars.”
“Sydney Sterlace so easy-breezy natural, flowing through the verse, communing with the audience. Such a sweet vocal. Yes, youthful but also grounded and solid throughout her range,” one person wrote on Twitter during her performance.
Sterlace blew The Voice coaches away during her Blind Audition with a rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s “driver’s license.” She “had [her] heart set on Gwen” after getting a coveted four-chair turn, and picked Stefani to be her coach. Stefani has obviously been doing something right, honing Sterlace’s talent as she moves through the ranks on The Voice. Now, she’s up to possibly win it all.
