‘The Voice’ Viewers Have a New Favorite After Contestant’s Incredible Four-Chair Turn

Kicking off its 26th season Sept. 23, The Voice is three episodes deep into Blind Auditions. This year’s crop of aspiring musicians must impress coaches Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani with their vocal chops alone. The season is still young, but we’ve already seen some memorable performances. However, many social media users have already selected Jeremy Beloate as their season 26 frontrunner.

‘The Voice’ Viewers Moved By Contestant’s Vocals, Backstory

Once Jeremy Beloate began his stellar performance of Giveon’s “Heartbreak Anniversary,” it didn’t take long for red chairs to start spinning. The Southaven, Mississippi native hit every note flawlessly, securing a four-chair turn from all four coaches during Monday’s (Oct. 7) episode of The Voice.

X/Twitter user Robert Anton described Beloate’s performance as “veiled and mysterious,” praising the singer’s midrange and “bright, brilliant falsetto.”

He wasn’t alone. “Jeremy is my new fav so far,” wrote one The Voice viewer on X/Twitter.

“I feel like you could do anything,” the “Feelin’ Good” crooner said.

Before he made his big decision, Beloate shared a bit of his life story with the coaches. He opened up about the loss of his father and two brothers—giving a whole new meaning to his song choice. Still got your things here / And they stare at me like souvenirs / Don’t wanna let you out my head.

In September 2023, the R&B singer shared an Instagram post about the loss of his oldest brother. “This is the second sibling I’ve lost to addiction — it’s a vicious beast,” he wrote.

So, Who Did He Choose?

It’s never a bad thing when you have your pick of coaches on The Voice. So who will Jeremy be teaming up with this season?

In the end, the singer, actor and dancer decided to join Michael Buble’s team. Many fans took to social media to comment that he’d made the right choice. “His voice is Amazing, star quality; @MichaelBuble would be perfect for him!” one X/Twitter user wrote.
