And when looking back at the early 2000s, fans were split when it came to which song not only encompassed the genre at the time but also brought back those sweet nostalgic country sounds.
Sharing a video on social media, Country Chord decided to reveal a list of nostalgic country songs that were released in the 2000s. Although fans appeared split when it came to their favorite, “Red Dirt Road” gained a great deal of support with comments reading, “I personally think Red Dirt Road is better with Cody Johnson in it but it’s still amazing.” Another person agreed, adding, “Red Dirt Road Always reminds me where I came from. Will always be my #1 song.”
