Watch ‘The Voice’ Singer’s Heartbreaking Chappell Roan Cover Days After Her Dad’s Death

Sloane Simon has had quite the journey on season 26 of The Voice. The 20-year-old Pittsburgh artist dedicated her Blind Audition performance of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” to her father, who encouraged her to try out for the show. Advancing to the Battles, it looked like Simon’s journey had come to an end when coach Gwen Stefani chose Sydney Sterlace over her. In a shocking twist, however, all three remaining coaches jumped at the chance to steal her, with Michael Bublé emerging victorious.

Did Sloane Simon Make It to the Live Shows?

Despite declaring Sloane Simon’s performance “marvelous” and praising her “inner strength,” Michael Bublé ultimately chose to move forward with Sofronio Vasquez and Shye. Heartbreakingly, that means the 20-year-old has reached the end of her journey on The Voice.

“Was not expecting that, LOL!” one viewer wrote on X/Twitter. “But you do you Buble! Not gonna complain.”

The Voice will kick off its Live Shows next Monday (Dec. 2) at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
