The Fourth of July is finally upon us as we get ready for the fireworks, parades, barbecues, and parties, to celebrate the United States’ independence from Britain on July 4, 1776.

If you’re planning on staying home this year to celebrate your independence from crowds, there are several television specials that will give you a front row seat to some of the best fireworks in the country. Check out how you can catch these Fourth of July television specials.

A Capitol Fourth 
(PBS): 

Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro, the Fourth of July festivities will take place on PBS at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. Broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, you can catch performances by Babyface, Boyz II Men, Belinda Carlisle, Chicago, Renée Fleming, Maddie & Tae, Charles Esten, Adrienne Warren, The Muppets, the Broadway cast of the Neil Diamond Musical A Beautiful Noise, as well the National Symphony Orchestra.

Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular
(NBC/Peacock): 

Macy’s will light up the sky in New York with their 25-minute July 4th firework display. Co-hosted by Rutledge Wood and Zuri Hall, performances will include Ashanti, Bebe Rexha, Ja Rule, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and LL Cool J, featuring DJ Z-Trip & the Roots. Broadcasted on NBC, the show begins at 8 pm ET/ 7 pm CT.

Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th
(CNN and CMT)

Taking place in the heart of downtown Nashville on Tuesday (July 4), Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th will be broadcast on CNN and CMT. The festivities begin in downtown Nashville at 12 p.m. CT and conclude with the 30-minute fireworks display that takes place from 9:30 to 10 p.m. CMT will broadcast headliner Brad Paisley’s performance at the Jack Daniel’s stage on Broadway, along with the fireworks display, from 9 to 10 p.m. CT. CNN will also be broadcasting live throughout the night.

Performances include country superstar, Brad Paisley as headliner, with acclaimed Americana husband-and-wife duo The War Treaty, “Brand New” singer Ben Rector, singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim, rising country star Tiera Kennedy, multi-instrumentalist trio Troubadour Blue, cajun-style band Les Kerr & The Bayou Band, and beatboxing-meets-acoustic trio The Magi.

The Fourth in America 
(CNN):

The mother of all events, CNN will broadcast a fireworks bonanza from cities across the country, including Nashville, Boston, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Washington, DC, and of course, New York City among others.

The special, beginning at 7 pm ET, will feature performances from Alanis Morissette, The All-American Rejects, Darius Rucker, Demi Lovato, Duran Duran, Flo Rida, Leon Bridges, Post Malone, Sheryl Crow, Smash Mouth, Zac Brown Band, The Plain White T’s, and more.
