The Voice hasn’t exactly produced a ton of stars, but quite a few contestants have gone on to launch very lucrative and successful careers. Let’s look at a few examples of The Voice seasons that launched the most singers into stardom!

1. Season 3
The third season of The Voice was a great one for three contestants: Top-sixer Melanie Martinez, runner-up Loren Allred, and winner Cassadee Pope.
Martinez has launched an extremely successful career as an alt-pop artist and still tours extensively today. Allred released a successful debut EP and collaborated with the likes of Michael Mott and David Foster. Pope was the first female winner of the show and scored a Grammy nom for her performance of “Think Of You”. She’s since moved on to pursue pop-punk instead of country.
2. Season 8
The eighth season of The Voice produced at least two successful stars. Koryn Hawthorne (the fourth runner-up of that season) and Sawyer Fredericks (the winner of the season) have gone on to enjoy pretty lucrative careers.
Fredericks released several successful albums after his time on The Voice and had some music featured in the Netflix series Longmire. Hawthorne launched an extremely successful gospel career after her time on the show, topping Billboard charts and nabbing a number of Billboard and Grammy noms and wins. Sounds pretty successful, if you ask us.
3. Season 9
Season 9 winner Jordan Smith has enjoyed quite the career after leaving The Voice. He’s also one of the highest-selling musicians to ever compete on the show, too. He’s a certified gospel music legend at this point, and his covers of “Hallelujah” and “Mary, Did You Know?” toppled the Christian Songs chart. He wrote a song for Celine Dion, too.
Just as well, Caleb Lee Hutchinson enjoyed a bit of fame after his time on this season of The Voice. He also competed on American Idol as well. His Idol song “Johnny Cash Heart” charted pretty high on the Country Digital Song Sales chart just a week after it was released.
4. Season 6
This season of The Voice produced two big stars: contestants Morgan Wallen and Christina Grimmie. Wallen currently is in the midst of a very successful country music career. Grimmie was similarly on an upward trajectory toward fame and had toured/performed with Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers. Grimmie unfortunately passed away in 2016.
