Zach Bryan Band Member “Faints” During Show, Causing Medics to Rush the Stage

Since kicking off his Quittin’ Time tour in March of this year, Zach Bryan has been selling out arenas and breaking attendance records. The “Pink Skies” hitmaker seemingly knows how to show the crowd a good time, especially during his closing performance of “Revival.” Anyone who has ever attended a Zach Bryan show has experienced that heart-stopping moment when steel guitar and banjo player Read Connolly “faints” onstage—only to pop right back up and launch into a solo. During a recent show, however, some medics in the crowd didn’t get the memo.

Medics Rush Onstage At Zach Bryan Concert

As Zach Bryan introduced his band before the closing performance of “Revival” during Saturday’s (Nov. 23) show in Tacoma, Washington, Read Connolly collapsed onstage. The crew frantically tried to revive him, but the steel guitar and banjo player remained unresponsive—until he bounced back up, suddenly well enough to absolutely shred his banjo solo.

It’s just a bit, but apparently no one alerted the paramedics at Tacoma Dome. They sprang into action.

“They should tell us that’s part of the act,” one paramedic joked as they returned to their stadium.

Many TikTok users agreed. “He’s not wrong they really should notify them,” one commented.

But where’s the fun in that?

Is This ZB’s Last Tour Ever?

Unfortunately for Zach Bryan fans, his latest tour may be aptly named. The “Something in the Orange” singer has previously said he’s done with touring for good after he wraps up Quittin’ Time on Dec. 14 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Earlier this month, Bryan announced plans to pursue a masters degree in Paris in 2025. That certainly won’t leave much time for touring.

However, this doesn’t mean the “Oklahoma Smokeshow” crooner is done with live performances for good. He previously announced a three-show run next July at New York City’s MetLife Stadium, alongside rock band Kings of Leon.

“One of the only shows we are slated to play next year,” Bryan wrote on social media. “See y’all there.”

A month before that, Bryan will head to London to perform two shows at the historic BST Hyde Park.
