Zach Bryan’s star has been on the rise in a big way. 2022’s American Heartbreak was his major label debut and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. His self-titled 2023 album debuted at No. 1 and earned Bryan his first GRAMMY Award. The “Pink Skies” singer has continued the trend with The Great American Bar Scene, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 200 following its April release. Bryan is currently embarking on his wildly successful Quittin’ Time Tour. Recently, fans became concerned that the tour name may be more literal than they thought. So the 28-year-old ACM Award winner cleared up those rumors with a social media post.

Zach Bryan Announces Plans to Record a New Album Next Year
On top of his songwriting capabilities, Zach Bryan has also become known for unceremoniously dropping off the face of the internet. His most recent social media absence came in early August. However, the alt-country star returned to X/Twitter over Labor Day weekend with a big announcement.
“There’s no EP ol’ sons, recording the last album on my contract next year,” wrote the “Heading South” singer on Saturday (Aug. 31.) “Everyone enjoy the sam hell out of Labor Day weekend, we love ya!”
“Not Last Album Ever, Right?!:” Social Media Expresses Concern For Bryan’ Career
Since inking a record deal with Warner Chappell Music in early 2023, Zach Bryan has dropped two hit albums. While fans were excited to hear news of more material, some feared this might be the end of the Navy veteran’s career. “Last album on your contract but not last album ever right!!?” commented one user on X/Twitter.
Obviously, there’s no way of knowing what the future holds. However, Bryan recently gave a pretty clear indication of his career plans. Last month, the hitmaker learned that his breakout 2022 single, “Something in the Orange,” hit 1 billion streams on Spotify. Bryan thanked fans and shared his enthusiasm in an Aug 29 post to his X/Twitter account.
“pray I get to record music forever for you guys,” he wrote.
